Avicenna Studio has been steadily developing an impressive portfolio since its inception in 2005; and within the first year, they’ve managed to beautifully capture 50 weddings around the country. And now the number has ground to thousands...

    Led by chief photographer Ahmad Fairuz Ismail, every single shot is always creatively captured to enhance the heritage of the bride and groom. Fairuz’s forte, besides his expert eye, is to always ensure that the couple he works with is comfortable, particularly those are camera-shy. And as he sets his sights on capturing your love, he always awaits for that spontaneous moment of beauty because he believes that “people are full of surprises”.

Rozanna + Zariq // Reception

It is always a pleasure to get a call from previous client, even better when they are telling that their sibling is getting married and they require your services for the wedding. Cool isn’t it?

Rozanna and Zariq’s wedding was held last year, but I couldn’t have the time to put it up on this site. Zariq is the elder brother of Shura, whom we shot her wedding at Mandarin Oriental circa 2011. Me and Zariq met briefly during Shura’s wedding and I also happened to be Rozanna’s ex classmate when she was studying in Uniten. What a small world!

To cut the story short, Rozanna and Zariq’s reception was held at KLGCC Bukit Kiara, and we have been trusted to be their official photographer and cinematographer. During the reception, all of Zariq’s siblings (4 of them) take turns to give their speeches, which translated to how much they love Zariq and why they will miss him around the house. This family has a very special bonds between them and we were so lucky to part of it, for the second time:)hopefully there will be a third one soon…

Atif + Ariff // Pre Wedding

Had the opportunity to shoot this lovely couple last few weeks at Putrajaya. At first, we went to a different venue in the morning, and we got chased out (yikes!). It seems that we’re not allowed to have a photography session there. So we have to revert to plan b, and off to Putrajaya we go!

Aliaa + Fairuz – The Backyard Solemnization

Not everyday that we can experience a solemnization in a backyard of a house, but this was the case for Aliaa & Fairuz’s solemnization ceremony. A beautifully decorated backyard, courtesy of Chenta Weddings, the stage was set for a very laid back and cozy ceremony. The pelamin was huge and beautiful, making our lives easier to shoot the wedding:)We have been trusted by the couple to be their official cinematographer for their big day, and we hoped that we managed to capture all the laughter and joy for this occasion. Both of them were very expressive, always smile and laugh throughout the night, and we had fun shooting them:)

Roshan + Azli – The Reception

Sorry for the lack of updates for the past few months. Actually, we’re more active on our facebook page rather than here. But we’ve decided that both our website and facebook needed an equal attention:)

This entry is about Roshan and Azli’s wedding reception. It was held at Dewan Perdana Keramat, which prior to this event, we never heard of this place.

Love the deco, love the pelamin and love the flowers. Both Roshan and Azli looked stunning in white, it was an easy shoot for us as both of them are pretty photogenic and always smile and laugh all the way till the end of the function. Thanks for hiring us as your official wedding photographer for your big day.

We wish all the happiness in the world for both of them, enjoy the pics!
